Girls Varsity Cross Country · Stephanie Egan Hired as New NDA Head XC Coach

Notre Dame Academy is pleased to announce that Stephanie Egan will be the school’s new high school Head Varsity Cross Country Coach. Coach Egan has experience coaching both cross country and distance track at the high school, junior high, and CYO levels. Most recently, Coach Egan was the Head High School Cross Country Coach and Head Junior High Track & Field Coach at Ottawa Hills High School. In addition to coaching, Coach Egan is the racing team coordinator for Dave’s Performance Footgear.

Coach Egan ran college cross country and track at Center College in Pella, Iowa where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. She holds a USATF Level I Certification and is a certified personal trainer.

As stated by NDA Athletic Director Gary Snyder:  “I am very excited to have Coach Egan lead NDA’s distance programs. Her knowledge of cross country and distance track running as well as her love of coaching is exactly what we were looking for in a cross country coach. Coach Egan is very familiar with distance running in the Toledo area and we are thrilled to have her work with our student-athletes and continue the success of NDA’s cross country and distance track and field programs.”

The cross country May informational meeting to discuss the summer and the first day of mandatory practice will be on Thursday, May 23rd, at 7:30 pm (please note the time change) in the NDA Dining Commons.
