It has been a solid season for the NDA cross country program. After many top two finishes at meets by our team, the varsity won the TRAC Championship on Saturday, October 13th, and finished as the OHSAA DI District Runner-up on Saturday, October 20th.
At the TRAC Championship at Oregon Rec, junior Lauryn Mick, who set a new school record at the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival with a 18:08.80 first place showing earlier this season, won the TRAC Championship race and earned TRAC Runner of the Year honors. Mick was followed by senior Madeline Vining (2nd), senior Emily Vining (3rd), sophomore Alyson Ray (11th), junior Reagan Root (30th), junior Hannah Gomez (31st), and sophomore Carissa Kolcun (33rd). The team combined for 47 points and a 16 point victory. Our JV team finished fourth at the TRAC Championship.
